Fertility, Waiting & the Emotional Load

This blog brings together writing from different periods of my work, exploring fertility, waiting, grief, stress, the nervous system, and the myths that shape how women experience reproduction. Some posts reflect earlier ways of thinking and language, written at a time when fertility was often framed through optimisation, coaching, or outcomes.

Others align more closely with my current focus on hypnotherapy-based psychological support and nervous-system regulation. Rather than rewriting that history, this space holds it honestly. These posts are offered for reflection, context, and perspective — not as a description of my current therapeutic services and not as advice or guarantees. Fertility experiences are complex, personal, and influenced by many factors.

Writing can help us think, feel, and question differently, even when answers remain uncertain. You’ll find pieces here on emotional triggers, grief, suppression, stress, breath, and the quieter psychological impact of fertility that often goes unspoken. Some posts may resonate strongly; others may not. You’re welcome to take what’s useful and leave the rest.
